Visual Power Shows are intellectual events discussing and presenting the image in our society. All Media organized Visual Power Shows in Amsterdam, Zollverein (Germany) and Los Angeles. Many different speakers (visionairs, artists, designers and scientists) gave their statement on visual culture.

This event organized by Virtual Platform will present for the very first time a compilation of all Visual Power Shows together on the topic of Next Nature. This Special Event will take place 24th till the 26th from 11.30-17.30 at a special dome next to Gashouder.

During Picnic 08, Virtueel Platform presents progressive projects and new research from the Dutch e-culture scene – with a focus on projects which are indicative of current trends in research and development. Virtueel Platform presents its international project- and network partners; a.o. BAM - Instituut voor beeldende, audiovisuele en mediakunst (B), Hartware MedienKunstVerein (D) and Transmediale (D).
